We are pleased to announce that on November 27, 2024, starting at 9:30 AM, the founding meeting of the Frontex Branch of the European Police Trade Union took place at the headquarters of the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) in Brussels.

Following democratic elections, in which 70.37% of eligible members participated, the composition of the Executive Board of the Frontex Branch was established. The validation of the elections will be carried out by the Central Executive Board of the European Police Trade Union after the completion of legal procedures. Subsequently, the composition of the Executive Board will be communicated to relevant entities and institutions.

Additionally, members of the Frontex Branch voted to set the membership fee at 10 euros per month, a sum that will be used for:

Covering expenses necessary for representing members at the level of European institutions;
Legal assistance;
Providing various forms of support.
The elected leaders will represent the members’ interests with professionalism and determination, providing a solid framework for identifying and analyzing the issues they face. Furthermore, the leaders will initiate concrete union actions to address these issues.

To better address the interests of Frontex employees and considering the multicultural and multinational representation at the European level, we invite all interested colleagues to join this initiative. Our goal is to build a strong and relevant vision tailored to current European challenges.

We remind you that the European Police Trade Union platform is the only union platform that promotes:

  • Organizational autonomy;
  • Financial independence for its branches.

This approach provides an effective tool for solving the social, economic, and professional problems faced by our members.

Membership in the Frontex Branch can be completed by filling out the online registration form.

The future belongs to us!
